Here’s a graph showing what my progress was totally going to look like:
You know, consistently getting stronger, and closer to that pull up. Never dipping, messing up, making mistakes, or going backwards. But in my real life, this is more like my progress:
Some days the weight I used yesterday feels so much heavier. Some weeks feel like I’m lagging more than the week before. Then I get a high where I’m un freakin’ stoppable. I strut a little bit on the treadmill. I smirk when I have to adjust the weight on the machine because the person before me wasn’t as strong.
I suppose as long as in the big picture I’m getting closer, I’ll take it!
