It’s funny how stepping out of the comfort zone leads you down a much easier path than you anticipated. It seems so scary, but once you do it, you meet the right people at the right time, and find yourself in the luckiest of situations.
My Photography instructor is retired, with 50 years of experience. He doesn’t particularly care about making money, but genuinely loves sharing and teaching photography to others. He has given me and a friend from class an opportunity to learn from him, using his own studio, during off hours.. for free. This kind of thing doesn’t happen. We have received hundreds of dollars worth in help and resources from him for no charge. I’m so thankful for that.
I have also made a new photography friend, who is in the same boat and still learning too. This is such a support to a newbie like myself 😉
I have the opportunity to join in on classes that are dirt cheap, learn tons and tons about photography, and get the practice and help I need.
If you’re stuck in a rut with a goal, I encourage you to just go for it. I am super thankful that I did, even though it was uncomfortable. Now, it gets better and better each day.
