Today I read an article to help remind me how to control depth of field (how fuzzy or in focus the background of photo is). I did sort of figure out how to do it.
So the closer to the subject, but further from the background the more blurred. But I’m pretty sure there is more to it. Something about f-stop… I can’t remember exactly how it works. But, with an fstop 1.8 and moving around my subject, I could create the blur or focus. Here was some of the pics:
Because Freddy is so close to his background, everything remained in focus.
Here, he was closer to the camera, and further from the background, and it helped to create the blur.
This was the exact moment he was over the photo shoot. Still, some nice blur!
