We were in Church last week, and our pastor is doing a series of sermons on being changeable. Basically, being able to change our habits, decisions, life.
And one of the golden rules he talks about is writing out our roles, goals, plans, and dreams. So I started doing this today, in hopes that it will help me reach my goals and help me in my road to recovery (from quitting).
He quoted some studies that showed much more success for those who wrote out their goals and plans. It makes it concrete. It feels legitimate, like you are now accountable because it’s been “verbalized” or written out.
Anyway, if you’re a recovering quitter, give it a try. Hoping it helps me stick to my goals!
