While my camera is not on auto, there are still some settings that are. I adjust the ISO, white balance, and the pace of the photo, but I have it still set on auto-focus. This is the component that determines the depth of field. How much of the front and back of the subject are in focus.
I did read up more on depth of field. But the minute I put it in manual focus everything got SUPER blurry. Like when you’re about to pass out, or put on drunk goggles. Or for me in the morning, before I put my contacts in.
So, pretty quickly I put it back in auto-focus. That will be for another day. Or year :I
